| Bonaire Kids Sea Camp One of the top dive destinations in the Caribbean is now a top Kids Sea Camp vacation. This first year in Bonaire will kick off our summer long Kids Sea Camp programs from June 18-25, 2005. The Kids Sea Camp will be hosted by Plaza Resort and Toucan Diving, a 5-star PADI Gold Palm, IDC center. You'll find that virtually everything is located right on the premises of Plaza Bonaire Resort. Restaurants, beauty salon, shops, tennis court, and white sand beach everything is right there, plus don’t forget the amazing diving. There are over 80 dive sites to explore here - by boat or from shore. This is exactly why Bonaire is one of the top dive destinations in the world. Bonaire is home to more than 500 species of colorful fish, as well as over 120 types of coral, with visibility reaching 90 to 150 feet. Most importantly, the waters around the island have been designated as a national park and are managed by the Bonaire Marine Park which protects them year round for your enjoyment, as well as for future generations. With such a great spot, how can we not have a great Kids Sea Camp? The kids will get an educational and fun experience. With the beach right there for snorkeling, we will never the get the kids out of the water. Great reef fish to see everywhere they turn will give them the chance to teach their parents about the marine world. With Bonaire Marine Park, the kids will see and learn how they can make a difference in protecting the environment. This experience will be something they remember forever and will hopefully carry through into their lives at home. We will also get the change to learn about the Sea turtle protection program in Bonaire….and if we are lucky we will get to see a few turtle nests…just be careful where you walk. To complete the fun-filled week the whole group will spend the day on Klein Bonaire for our Family Day. This is the chance for the Jr. Open Water students to show off to their parents during their graduation dive. The SEAL team will be able to do a shallow dive with mom and dad, while our SASY kids get to teach their older siblings about all the marine life. What a way to end the week….together, on a deserted island in the Caribbean! |
