NEW this year for Grand Cayman Kids Sea Camp is the Advance Open Water certification for kids 10 and older in Grand Cayman.
Great new program for our certified kid divers! This a week of activities is specially designed for our newly certified Junior Open Water divers. If you thought once you were certified there was nothing else fun and exciting to do…think again, this is going to be something your parents will beg to join.
The week begins with a dive at Turtle Reef where just minutes off shore in crystal clear warm waters, you'll get to know the sponges, corals, turtles, shrimp and more personally. You'll learn the names of all those wonderful fish you see underwater. Now instead of saying, “I saw this cool fish, it was black swimming weird with it's top fin and bottom, I don't know it name.” After learning all about fish you will be able to wow your parents with the name of that fish, a Black Durgeon. Plus the best part….the dive that follows. You won't believe the amount of fun you will experience diving with other Teen divers on your own private dives. Along with fish you will become a Coral Reef Ecology expert or at least learn enough to dazzle your friends, and earn your Marine ID badge. During the week there is fun, education, and of course diving.

You'll experience a Deep dive under the guidance of an Instructor and dip over the edge of the sheer walls that go down for thousands or feet. Then, talk about fun! you're going cruising on an underwater Scooter! These cool toys take you cruising along the mini walls, covering so much territory - you'll be just like James Bond :) We'll cruise, do barrel rolls and loop-di-loops too.

world. You'll run fun patterns & squares in the sand flats while you float over beds of conch, lobsters, garden eels and stingrays then a multi-level dive back up the sponge encrusted mini wall.
No trip would be complete without some great photos to remember it by. You'll learn how to take great underwater pictures of your dive and dive buddies, with techniques and tricks for taking great underwater photos during your Underwater Photography dive and then practice with a photo dive or 2.
No trip to Cayman would be complete without a trip to Stingray City too. Accompanied by your Instructors and parents too, everyone will have a graduation dive at Stingray City! Get up close and personal with our Southern Stingrays and large green moray eels and babies too. This also includes a Pizza and a Movie night, all dive gear for the week and of course lots more diving too! Then Family Day at Boatswain's Beach Marine Park and the Cayman Turtle Farm is time to snorkel in stingray and turtle ponds, visit the salt water aquarium and learn all about the flora and fauna of Grand Cayman from local story tellers.
