Kids Sea Camp is a fun-filled vacation for families who love the ocean. A full week's schedule of events and educational programs promises great times and learning experiences for kids age 4-15.

Kids Sea Camp has been proudly responsible since 2001 for creating the vehicle in which 135+ kids each year become PADI certified divers. Kids Sea Camp, in meeting the needs and wanting to keep our families diving, has developed the next stage of family adventure for kids age 10+ certified divers.

Our Ocean Discovery Teen diver programs will launch in Grand Cayman for 2008. This program will include many new features, , AOW, specialty courses and fun age- and depth-appropriate diving, such as Sea Scooter dives,Wreck Diving, Wall Diving, photography and more.

WHAT'S NEW FOR KIDS SEA CAMP 2008/2009

Kids Sea Camp is the brain child of Margo Peyton.  A scuba diver since 1989, This Scuba mom  with husband Tom ,two kids of her own, Jen and Robbie, decided it was important for her family to spend time together doing what she loved, the most,  (Scuba diving & travel) .   Kids Sea Camp was started in 2001, as 7 night family vacation.  Kids Sea Camp is hosted at PADI 5 Star dive resorts in many countries around the world.  From the Cayman Islands, Bonaire, Roatan, Fiji, Curacao, the Galapagos and others.  

Families can spend a week scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, turtles, kissing Sea Lions, Kayaking, horseback riding, discovering underwater photography, Canopy tours, meeting families and making friends from all around the world.  Kids learn to Snorkel and scuba from ages 4-15, With a full range of PADI courses. Kids Sea Camp is the perfect family scuba vacation.

What a fantastic summer! We at Kids Sea Camp enjoyed sharing our 2007 family dive adventures with all of you who joined us this year for the first time as well as the many families that come back year after year. 

It's incredible to watch all your kids that have traveled with us from the time they were little SASSY kids, just snorkeling for the first time, and then seeing them advance to Seal Team divers, zipping around the shallows like stealthy Ninja  divers fearless of any fish. 

Then amazingly becoming certified divers, like getting a license to drive their own car, mom and dad's eager to join on their long awaited family dives.  Kids Sea camp contributes to hundreds of kids each year becoming PADI certified divers. Hence, our Ocean discoverer's.  This will be the new term for our current teens, as thanks to PADI allowing kids age 10 and up to get certified, "Teen" doesn't apply to all our new divers.  Kids Sea Camp enjoyed hosting our teen diver program to over 150 certified kids this year.  This program included, many specialty courses, such as Underwater Navigation, Buoyancy Control, Fish ID, Adventure Diver, UW Photo and more.  Our certified kids enjoyed, night dives and sea scooter dives and wall and wreck dives as well as dolphin dives and shark dives, many became PADI Jr. Advanced divers.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands:  Cobalt Coast and Dive Tech  - July 5-12 and July 12-19  Meals included along with airport transfers and room of your choice for 7 nights.  Programs  offered for kids are, Seal Team, Jr. Open Water &  Ocean Discovery. This year, the Cayman Islands will be our first year with our new Ocean Discovery camp.  Kids ages 8+ with their family.  Cayman will feature PADI Open Water certifications as well as choice of Advanced Open Water, UW photo or Sea Scooter specialty courses. There is a total of 6 days of activities for the whole family.   Kids will enjoy sea scooters, wreck diving, Stingray City diving, night diving, wall and reef dives.  Kids also receive many gifts such as UW cameras, dive gear, skins or wetsuits, masks, T-shirts and more.   Cayman Islands Ocean Discovery week will also feature marine life lectures for kids and adults, as well as a painting marine life program for non diving adults with Margo Peyton, all materials included.    

Kids will enjoy a  1/2 day at the Cayman turtle farm Boatswain Beach, including a turtle release, and marine animal encounters in the snorkel lagoons.  Kids and snorkelers can also participate in an afternoon “freediving clinic” with Dive Tech one of the top rated freediving facilities in the Caribbean.  Divers can experience some of the best diving in Grand Cayman right off the dock with unlimited shore diving.   Dive Tech has two dive shops that provide the highest level of service.  Families can dive together with their kids on beautiful shallow reefs with dive sites like Turtle Reef and Stingray City.  

Anthony Key Honduras: July 19 - 26, July 26- Aug. 2, and Aug 2-9 2008     Enjoy over water bungalows, and  beautiful beaches, complete with   dolphins to play with each day, diving on wrecks and reefs, all the food you could possibly eat, and as many boat dives as you could fit in a day.   There are daily morning and afternoon dives as well as 2 night dives included in your package.    

Anthony Key Honduras There are 3 great weeks to choose from.  Calm clear Caribbean water to dive. From crab races, to snorkeling with nurse sharks, fire dancers and live entertainment almost nightly featuring local delights, this couldn’t get any better.  Want to swing on a Canopy tour with a monkey or horse back ride on the beach any day?  Divers and non divers couldn’t ask for more.   Anthony Key Resort  has so much to offer and the dolphins are for everyone.  Kids get dolphin activities each day and a family encounter at the end of the week.  Certified kids have their own private boats with dive masters for daily diving.  No crowding here, this fleet of boats is well prepared for easy relaxed diving.  Unbelievable wrecks, reefs, caves and so much more.  Fish ID lectures and complete photo facility for those photo enthusiasts.

Buddy Dive Beach Resort in Bonaire:  June 7-14th 2008 & June 14th-21 2008      Charming, pleasant, relaxing, easy and sooooo much fun.  Our smallest weeks, but good things come in small packages!  Sea horses galore, baby   turtles hatching and Moogie singing at sunset, who could ask for anything else?  I loved all the donkeys chasing the car and touring the island seeing  beautiful pink flamingos, light houses, windmills and stopping for a swim at Lac Bay.  The best is, just jumping off the dock and diving with your certified kids on a wreck at 40 feet.  If you like we have moon light diving available.  3 meals a day, a sunset cruise with cocktails and food included for 2008.    

Bonaire Buddy Dive and Beach Resort,  Choices of 1,2 or 3 bedroom Villas tastefully designed to satisfy all families.  You can enjoy a beach day at Klein Bonaire, a trip to the Donkey sanctuary to feed and pet wild donkeys, the salt mines, slave huts and views of the beautiful pink  flamingos.  Ever try blow-carting?  This is truly fun, a go-cart with a wind-surfer sail attached, blowing around on a salt flat.  What a blast.  All kids participate in our PADI, Sport Diver and Kids Sea Camp sponsored Treasure hunt, with tons of prizes for all the kids.  7 nights and 6 days of diving, come enjoy!

Thanksgiving in FIJI:  South Pacific  Adventure.  Castaway Island, Nov 22-29 2008          Castaways Island Resort, has beautiful beaches, fantastic diving and is loads of fun. Kids Fly Free on Air Pacific with Kids Sea Camp.  Fiji is fantastic !!!!  We load the top half of the Air Pacific flight to Fiji with Kids Sea Camp families.  Ron Rogest entertains the troops along the way. after a good nights sleep, we awake in Fiji met by the Fiji Tourism Board with welcome drinks and breakfast. We set off on South Seas Cruises aboard the Cat-Tiger through the many islands that dot the way to Castaway Island Resort.  Then met by an escort of tribal worriers upon arrival. You will enjoy a series of feasts fit for kings, fire dancers and music, traditional Fijian ceremonies welcoming your family to Fiji.   Dive for 6 days on some of the best reefs, crystal clear calm and temperate waters, just off Castaway Island. a photographers dream. Some say just around the corner, also surfers paradise.     

The kids have their own private dive programs with PADI   instructors.  Plenty of bright blue starfish, array of clown fish and even the supermarket full of sharks that the kids totally enjoy as well as adults.  A few new household words you will never  forget...
